The peepers awake

The pond in spring.

A few more prayer flags

The brown substance in the center is seaweed. I collected a bunch when I lived on the Cape and dried them. This type is like paper when dried.

I printed my prose poem on vellum and cut into fragments to use. At first I used largish sections like this, but toward the end preferred using just one word or a few words.

Leaves through water. As I crouched by the pond and gazed down I saw movement. Guppies. After a while quite a few came near. They played with each other. Probably you can't see them. They blend in so well with the leaves. Now, at night, peepers are peeping again. Spring is here.

My dryer gave out with a thump and burning smell. I won't buy a new one. I can hang clothes on racks. Maybe put up a line. I didn't have a dryer until I moved up here to Mom's. Oh well.

Lovely sights of Spring. How can you not have a dryer where you live. Seems like it would take for ever to dry towels and things. :)

Latest issue of Cloth Paper Scissors has a cover story on Prayer flags and big article inside. I thought they might be yours!

Love the mix of yours with your prose/poetry snippets!!!

and sound effects...

I LOVE the last photo of leaves on water in the pond. I'll take your word for it about the guppies. I like the image.

Spring has definitely sprung here too. Flowers abound.

Live without a dryer? I could not.
Well, I could if I had to, but glad I don't have to. You sound fine with it.

I love your new prayer flags. I think the added embellishments are a lovely touch.
Isn't spring wonderful with all its sights and sounds? I don't hear peepers where I live. Thanks for sharing yours.

I really love these prayer flags.
These colors are favorites of mine, and they are so delicate I can picture them blowing in a breeze.

I'm sure I could make do without a dryer, but glad I'm not.
I do, though, love the scent of sheets dried in the outdoor breezes.

Prayer flags, peepers, poems and spring. Laundry flapping in the breeze. The clean fresh smell of renewal. Lovely.
