A mandala

I drew this on rice paper in my new notebook. It looks rather pale here. You can't work rice paper like you can a sheet of Stonehenge paper. Not sure if I am finished or not. I used watercolor pencils for the color. I want to draw at least one more mandala for the new year (ie: my birth year).

We lost electricity last night for awhile. Very windy with a cold rain nearing snow. Sleet. Things are thudding and banging. Trees are bending. The house is on an exposed hill and the wind cuts through the walls. Luckily I have enough food in the house so I don't need to go out. Be well, Suki

Stay safe and warm Suki.
Your manadala is beautiful, and what a great idea, to do at least one a year.

Lovely mandala. The image on your sidebar is also very compelling! Hope the storms have passed you by.

Oh it is so soft and lovely Suki.
We had a power outage last night also button because of the weather. Stay warm and safe and make more mandalas, they are so meditative.

I love these pictures you draw of yourself. So well done. The dragon fly is terrific as well.
Do stay dry and warm in your little abode! Rain is fun...we walked in it yesterday!

And I love the drawing on the sidebar too... powerful!!!!

I hope the storm has passed you and it's sunny. We had our first storm too...but today, the sun is shining...though it's cold for SF (50).

Stay warm - it makes me smile to think of you with all your lovely things in your house....

Love,

Very comforting, knowing you don't have to be out battling the elements.
Very nice mandala,,,you're good at self portraits!
The sunflower and dragon fly are perfect additions.
We shopped for flooring at the lake from old distressed lumber, (your previous post) but the cost was prohibitive for us. Someone will love it!

There's that dragonfly again, determined to show you the way. Very nice mandala Suki. I have never thought to do a personal oe before. It makes so much sense!

Crazy wild wind here last night too and snow on the ground this morning! The day was and still is mostly cold rain. I've been trying to stay focused on tasks but I did run out for a haircut and more notecard stock.

Hunker down! I think this may be a long winter :(

Lovely mandala. Is that Draggon fly pond up in the top corner? We are having a storm now. Summer weather is gone.
