Foam Core

Collaged papers glued with acrylic matte medium.

Forgot to photo intermediary step but this is where it is now. Not completed. Gesso, acrylic paint and possibly some thinned modeling paste, can't remember.


These began much as the above collage did with scraps of paper glued with acrylic gloss medium, then layers of paint, more collaged scraps, more medium and a layer of thinned modeling paste.

Cut out an angel form from cardboard, lay it down, then painted around it. These also are incomplete. The idea was to peel back layers of collaged papers however I found that difficult so didn't do much of that.

Such an interesting process. You always do come up with the most curious processes for artmaking. I will be looking forward to seeing how these turn out.
