Big draw day 31

Let's celebrate 31 days of drawing!! Hurrah to us. Have a glass of big draw champagne (made locally in the beautiful Connecticut River Valley) with me and toast to pens, pencils, crayons and charcoal. And whatever other drawing media you love. Thanks to Bad Faery and Elizabeth for hosting this on-line event and to everyone who looked at and commented on (or looked at and did not comment on) my drawings. Your enthusiasm and interest kept me drawing. Be well, and see you next year for the 2009 Big Draw.

Congratulations! I so enjoyed stopping in to see your drawings. You filled a notebook? Perfect timing on putting together the canvas...new work ahead! I'm starting to read our book in common "Art From Intuition".

Hey Soulbrush, yes, we dun good and now we have our gold stars.

Thanks Annie. And a toast to you and your art too.

Cris, yes this is just the beginning.... watch out world, here we come.

Thanks Chewy. I'm dancing too. Well, I just had a fun day in the "city" with a friend who treated me to flowers, lunch and a bookstore gift certificate for my birthday.

Thanks Mary. And the big draw was such fun too.

Teri, I've enjoyed your art too. And getting to know Jerry bob's place via your images. If he only knew.

Thank Andrea. Of course, I made up the Connecticut Valley champagne but it sounds good. However not as good as the french champagne which I've never had but have heard of Vive Cliquot.

Marianne, champagne and oysters (although I actually dont like oysters). Thank YOU for looking at all our drawings and commenting.

Chewy and Annie and Mary Ann, thanks to you all too for looking and commenting. Great to have an "audience."

Mary ann, I have only dipped into the book but now I hope to read it more intently.

Thanks Patti for all your comments and encouragement. Without you all, it would not have been as fun and enriching. As R. Crumb says "Keep on drawin'" or no, I think that was "truckin'" Well, anyway.....

Dear Suki, you are in good form here today! I am laughing as it sounds as if you've perhaps been tippling from the bottle of celebratory champagne all morning long! Perhaps all day as well. And dancing into the evening and night.
Why not? I think we should go a full day without drawing a single line to rest our drawing minds and souls. So I am sewing instead!
LOL
I too appreciate the audiance, the comments, the friendships gained here.

Hugs and Happy Birthday to YOU!!!
Ah, another good reason for more Champagne! Here's to you!
