16 more ATC's completed

This is just a sample. See my Picasa Web album of ATC's for the complete and numbered set.
These are addictive to make. But I will stop for now. Want to get into my "wet" studio to do some painting. Today is a rainy day, so I won't be turning to mush sitting out in the sun as I am wont to do.
I tried to paint yesterday but didn't like it and painted it all out.

How about you? Do you have plans to be creative this weekend?

Hi Suki,

These look like so much fun. You have a real way with these little projects. I think it is just good to be doing things. Like you, I am eager to get into the "wet studio", too. I have some things which need to happen today, so maybe tomorrow. I am not sure. I am still in the process of being Mama Glue...but maybe the tackiness is lessening. :)

We are really getting rain here right now...the beginnings of Hannah. We are supposed to get several inches of rain from this one and some wind...

Have a Good Weekend, Suki. Make a nice pot of tea and head into your studio to have some fun! :)

Hi Suki.

My creativity this week-end will be partly gardening, partly cooking. And who knows, may be I'll be back to garden and food blogging again.......

HI Kim, I like that: "Mama glue." Hope you all are okay as Hannah passes through. I have always loved that name. I have been in the studio this morning working on the small canvas. Using acrylics.

Britt-arnhild,I hope you enjoy the partly gardening and partly cooking times of your weekend. I always enjoy reading your recipes and seeing the delicious meals you cook.

Annie on of the hardest parts to me is how to charge for shipping. I put a shipping price down for each item but then a friend bought a number of items and thus paid way too much for shipping as I shipped them altogether. I returned the overpay to her of course but it is beyond me how to manage that. Plus be sure to put down enough for foreign shipping. I shipped a few things overseas and had guestimated way too little. have fun. I thought it was a fairly easy process.

Suki, These are lovely and fun.
I have been sluggish lately and not able to do much Art work. To much going on I guess.
but have done a bit of gardening.
Need to finish up some painting tho.
Yep Shipping is hard to figure. To much to little. I guess one needs to go have things weighed and go from there.
Hope your getting lots of painting done.
It is lovely here today.

Thank you Suki. I am in luck as in my jobs the last 10 years I was in charge of shipping art and I have a very good idea of how much it costs to ship something, except for the foreign shipping, that I will have to look into.

These are beautiful Suki. I hope to begin making ATC's as soon as I've finished making a house sign. (The design is done, but need to decide the right material to use for the sign itself)

So when I get going on them, I will post mine and we can begin trading!:)

Suki, these ATC's are all so varied and each very interesting in it's own right!
You keep quite a collection of 'things' to add,,,,and you add them well!

these are incredibly detailed, are they really as small as atc's?

Cris, glad you had a lovely Sat. Well, I wouldnt call you sluggish. You have accomplished a lot in the past weeks toward getting your house ready for winter, plus helping Con with his hand, plus gardening, plus you did paint a few paintings. Hmmm, maybe inside you you feel sluggish, but outside evidence speaks to a whirlwind. Have a great sunday.

That's great Annie. You are many steps ahead of me then. Good luck setting up your shop.

Patti, that'd be great to trade cards with you! I look FWd to it. And also seeing your sign. I actually put mine in the scrap wood pile. Not sure what I want to do about a sign at the moment.

Babs, I have several large boxes of paper scraps and stuff. I love to pull it all out and play with it.

Soulbrush, these are the "offical" 2 1/2 x 3 1/2 size. I was surprised at how much stuff I could fit on these tiny things. It was fun. I laid out a bunch at a time and moved stuff around for a few days before gluing them up.

Wonderful ATC's Suki!
I have no plans, I cleaned the house because mom and dad are cominng with my brother, who is just as clean and tidy as my mum.
They are coming for Felix' birthday last wednesday.
I hope I will have some energy left tonight to continue my mandala.
love >M<

Marianne, I hope your visit with your mom and dad and brother went well. From the pictures I've seen of your home you look pretty clean to me. NO clutter. Happy second celebration to Felix. Take care, Suki

These are lovely little pieces, and they seem to almost "make themselves", without any of the technical struggles that accompany some of your other work. Is a work of art that you dash off in minutes less worthy than one that takes hours, days or weeks? I sometimes wonder. You are in a whirlwind of creativity right now; good for you!

thanks sixty-five. I've been making collages for a long time and love bits of paper and flowers and so forth so much maybe that's why it seems easier. I do lay them out for a few days and move things around but these did happen pretty quickly. Thanks for your comment.
