Some Collage Exchanges

I received my 11 collages from the collage exchange last week. Here are a few. This is a water color collage by Marianne Gross from Denmark.

This one is by Ann Larsen of the USA.

Michele Gardner from New Zealand.

Maria Lynam from USA

L. Sue Smith from USA

Oh how neat Suki. A collage exchange! These are neat - so many different textures ... I liked the last one. The contrast between the cool blue and the embracing red. Very nice ... hope you are well.

Wow, so nice, these little pieces of art coming from all over the world! Did you send each one of them a collage? Which ones?

Thanks Honor. I never participated in the exchange before so it was an adventure.

Marianne, I sent the collages to a New Zealand woman, Dale Copeland, along with 150 or so other people. She then chose which collages to send to each person. Each person made 13 collages. One was for sale, one went to a museum in Texas and the others were sent to other participants.

Suki, these are wonderful and so different. What a lovely way to share art! I am particularly drawn to the last one by Sue!

Beautiful work by each artist.

I don't know why my comment came through as anonymous. Thanks Kim, it was a fun exchange. I'll show the others I received soon.

What a fun thing to do, exchange art this way! I loved looking at all you acquired.

And I cannot tell you enough times how many times I stop in front of Housekeepers Shield and just marvel at how lovely it looks in our home. I just simply LOVE IT!

So beautiful, Suki, and how fun! I think I like the last one best. What a fun idea.

how fun! i love the idea--and have to admit i'm really glad i don't have to find places for 11 collages ;-)

how humbug is that? can you tell i'm still getting rid of boxes of cr-p at my house??!!!

Mary I have to say I was hesitant to receive the collages esp as i wasn't picking them myself. I have downloaded so much "stuff" and now have very little and no place to save the collages. I probably shouldnt have taken them.

Kim, despite the above comment, I think it is neat to exchange artworks. Sara from Austria does that fairly often on her site.

Cris, I got to delineate which one of mine was for sale and which one was to be sent to the museum. I sent the temple.

Lynn you are too dear to tell me so often how much you like the shield. Blush, blush.

Katie Jane maybe some of us can do an exchange. I'll think about it, ie maybe initiating one.
