AED Ganesha, sketch and Rotring pen

Sketch with my new Rotring pen. I didn't know the ink would blurr when I overlayed watercolors. I am posting it anyway.
I made a notebook as seen in the July/August issue of Cloth Paper Scissors. Juju Vail wrote about her idea. You glue little pieces of paper onto your notebook pages, then gesso over them and then draw or whatever. Makes for a bumpy drawing. I used a child's board book for the notebook.
Here's my new pen which came in a metal box. Wow. This is a drawing pen with extra-fine point. The catalogue, Dick Blick, from which I ordered it only had one drawing pen and the rest were calligraphy pens.

ahhh.. he is cute..to bad the ink ran. was it because it wasnt completely dry? Does it say water proof on it? Interesting note book drawing. I need to check out my magazine to see the whole concept.

There's nothing on this earth like new art supplies :) I like Ganesha even though the ink ran!

Rotring rocks, yeah! Great drawing, with running ink too. (It should be waterproof once dry).

Will catch up with your 'doings' properly very soon,
blessings to you too

I am still paralyzed regarding the loading of ink into my "special" pens. It was enough to incorrectly sharpen my colored pencils!
Your elephant is very cute. I think the run ink looks fine. As if meant to be.
Interesting face in the notebook too.
