But a dream

"Is all that we see or seem, but a dream within a dream?"  Edgar Alan Poe

The new pond owners bulldozed down the trees on one side of the pond so now I have a good view of the rock.  With high water, the rock looks small.  With low water, large.

The task I thought I was required to complete no longer needs to be done.  Just a dream within a dream, I guess.  At first the task seemed large (low water) but now small.

Beautiful view, but I am sorry for the trees.
Glad things changed for the better.
I do believe this is all a dream, I really do. xoxo

I am happy your life is falling into place.....

Love to you and Bibtty,

Ahhhh - Changes in the landscape - on many levels it seems... And now you have a different "view" :) What wonderful metaphors for living in your post today! Glad everything "worked out." And that is a beautiful photo of the serene pond... Heart Hugs to you!

So glad you are focusing on the lovely new/expanded view opened up before you now, rather than on what the bulldozer had to do to create it!

Water is always soothing to me. Nice they made it so you could enjoy it more. Now if they would put a bench in for you to sit and enjoy it more. :))

Hi suki, I don't know if what's been taken away (times 2) is good or not, but it seems clear the view will be different

My quote for that, dream or not, is

'ride the horse in the direction she's going'

There's a change, and any lost trees shout that, but there's also more open space

Wishing you a new place
Love

A beautiful view. Amazing how changing one's perception can change just about anything. The doors of perception of Heaven and Hell?

Suki, I am so glad your outlook is sunny in so many ways! That thought alone brings a smile to my face!

"not seeing the forest for the trees" comes to mind. Now you can, for sure!
Stay cool,,,,maybe that's not an issue in your world though.

Do birds and things rest on this rock? I find that birds and amphibians just love a little island. It makes them feel so safe from predators. I also hope you're feeling calm. Dream is a good metaphor, but my favorite thing to remind myself when I feel the least bit anxious about anything is, "It's YOUR movie." And it is. I am the director, just have to remember that I am. My CIM facilitator loves to say, "Forgive the dream, forgive the dreamer."
