successful trip

My friend old pajamas arrived safely on Saturday with a U-Haul truck full of my storage unit boxes and furniture. My son, old p and I unloaded the truck and then had dinner together. It was so wonderful to have old p here in my space, to sit and chat with him, to watch a movie or two. We had a wonderful visit. I found this prayer flag in my sewing table drawer and hung it in the kitchen window.

I unrolled this rug I bought last March and have never lived with. It goes well in this brown decor and brightens it immensely. On Monday old pajamas took the bus back to the Cape. A long haul as it takes hours more than if one drove. Thank you so much old pajamas. Today he returned to the storage unit and swept it out. Now it is ready for the next person. I had it for three years.

An old sewing cabinet my Mom gave me. She refinished it, taking off a lot of dark varnish although I guess that takes away the value. I love it. I'm having fun going through a few boxes, but won't unpack them all. It feels good to have all my stuff in one place and to renew my acquaintance with this and that. And best of all was visiting with old pajamas. Today I awoke full of renewed energy and desire for life! My spirit has been enriched.

Oh...that has to be the loveliest rug I have ever seen! And to know you can now enjoy it...make my heart take wing, too, just like the cranes.

And friends do enrich, and leave you with that wonderful feeling of energy and warmth.

I am so happy for you that you have all your own things now in one place!
Love that rug!!!
I thought wait till Robin sees this as the egrets are almost the same as on her mandala!
The Tibetan flags are so colorful and bright, I love their symbolic meaning.
What a good friend OP is to do this for you.
And the joy it has brought you makes me happy.
Enjoy having your life in one place now ;)

I don't know which is more beautiful:
Having a friendship such as this
or
having all your life in one place, and feeling renewed.
Happy for you, yes I am!

Suki, you seem to be emerging anew in this usual time of hibernation! That thrills me completely. I think all these re-entries into your life (things and friends) will lift you through the long winter.
I pray all of your tests are back now and that you have peace of mind.
This was a joyful, heartfelt post.
Yay you!

Suki, Marianne....yes, I thought about my Mandala as soon as I saw Suki's rug...... I know how much we all love that gorgeous bird...plus his "cousin" the Blue Heron.

It is all one huge loving connection.....and it makes me feel so happy!
