YART

What fun I had on Saturday driving to KJ's house and seeing all the wonderful craftworks for sale. It is such a beautiful thing she has done, inviting all these crafter friends to sell their wares. Serving lunch/dinner/brunch. Opening her (and JB's) home to those who needed a place to crash.

Lots of fabulous people there too. Here is Robin from San Francisco, who flew in to cook some delightful cupcakes, create a wonderful chicken salad and eggplant parmigiana along with other cooking folks. To me Robin seemed like a wonderful Southern belle, so warm and kindly and gentle.

Here is Mim at her craft table chock full of hand painted furniture, hand made cards, paper and felted bowls. So creative and so many talents. And best, such a delightful soul.

And here is sweet Lolo with her beautiful paintings and cards. It was so wonderful to meet her at last and experience her warm and kindly friendship in person.

These are my best photos. I wasn't a very prolific photo taker. But for more visit Chewy, Mim, Lolo and KJ's blogs. Thank you again KJ and JB. It was a blast.

So wonderful to finally get to hug you Suki! I wish you could have stayed longer. We were all so distracted with our cooking, selling, schmoozing...wow!

And thank you again for the bag of delightful surprises! I just love the things you make.

And how wonderful Brian had a vignette of a mutual friend!
Small world.

Hugs and many blessings,

Lolo♥

The day sounds wonderful, Suki. I dream of meeting up with online friends I've made over the years. What a blast to actually be there, AND to see their creative works at the same time.

It sounds like you were a boon to the seller by giving them the breaks they needed. I bet you had fun too.

I to feel like we are seeing bits and pieces of a puzzle of this weekends Yart sale with so many bloggers getting together. I saw everyones face there but yours. Did anyone get you in the pix? How long was your drive there? Looks like it was so much fun.

It was a delight to meet you, sweet Suki. I was wrapped up in the hustle and bustle and didn't capture a photo of you. It's fun traveling from blog-to-blog viewing the YART day through other's camera lens.

Oh goodie another romp through the infamous YART day! Or was it days?
It looked like such fun, and as I've said on the other blogs I wish I could have been a part of this. I would so have loved to meet you all in person. And to see all that fantastic art close up. I am enjoying all these photos, each another angle on a fantastic event.
Thanks for your contribution Suki.

Suki, Suki, Suki,,,, ah, "sugah", y'all makin' fun of my "Southern Belle" ways? Ha-ha!

Thank you for the compliment and for the photo! There I am, wearing my "uniform of the day"...my de Young D'Orsay volunteer apron..... glad I brought it 'cos i did a lot of cookin'!

Meeting you was a GENUINE JOY!
I had to hold back tears.... you know how close I feel to you.
And...it was really like we hadn't seen each other for a few months - not a first encounter. I am just sorry I was so busy in the kitchen I didn't have the time to sit down and really talk before you left.
But, I'm glad I walked you to your car - so we had that extra few minutes.

My gifts.....I ADORE each and every one of them..... I will e-mail you more later....and will call you in a day or so - as soon as my voice returns!

Many hugs and much love to you and Bibs! I miss you.

♥ Robin ♥
