I looked out my window

and what did I see, but the pink of the sunset and the waxing Gibbous 58% of full moon staring down at me. I raced outside to photograph this for Robin who, in fog bound San Francisco, longs for glimspes of moon or sun. (I only know that about the waxing Gibbous from her website sidebar.) A beautiful view indeed. I love these kind of skies but they are so short lived you need to be there quick and enjoy.

Looks like pink cotton candy rolling over the trees there. So pretty. I saw that very moon last night from our backyard. Will post about that soon too. ;-)

I saw some gorgeous wispy little pink clouds just outside my door yesterday evening...thought about running back in and getting my camera, but didn't...ah, the ones that get away...

Wonderful colorful photo Suki. I am really curious about the comment you made about making paper from hosta leaves. How cool is that??.. Do you still have some of it??

I dont have any more hosta paper. It comes out differing tones of green depending on the season you pick the leaves. You have to cook the leaves and then beat them with a hand held beater like a meat softener thing. then disperse the fibers in a vat of water, then pull up the paper sheet with a mold and deckle.

Wonderful shot Suki.
This is my favorite time of day when the sky is that "Maxfield Parrish" shade of blue and the clouds are peachy hued.

Lovely.
