Hideaway Cottage

Approximately 300 square feet.

The deck where I ate my breakfast, lunch and dinner.

A curious couch.

A clothes line. One of my favorite things to do is hang clothes.

Cute decorations.

The owner painted this plywood floor. The rug is a Claire Murray rug.

I never did figure out how to light the oven, but I liked the stove top.

What a cozy little "nest"....I can see why you were so happy there.... I love the picture of the clothes being dried by the wind....it has been a long time since I was able to do that - but I remember how wonderful everything smelled when I took them off the clothesline....

As always, wonderful photos....

Love to you and Bibs,

Oh, lovely and restful, quaint and quirky...a perfect holiday spot. I always say I'd love 3 small cottages--on at the ocean, one in the mountains and one in the city...

Excellent place, looks as though it was perfect for you.
I love the fresh air fragrance of sheets and towels right off the line.
I'm glad you had this opportunity, Suki.

What a cute little house. How did it feel living in such a small house? Could you do it? Love the decor. Very cottagie...

Oh what fun! It's almost like a play house. I love seeing cottages and am fascinated by small living spaces. What a lovely hideaway retreat space. I don't think I would have been able to put that hooked mat on the floor, though.
