To carpet or not to carpet

Update on rug. I deleted previous post but thank you all for your comments and ideas. On Saturday my son and I pulled up the rug. We found some linoleum underneath half the area and plywood under the second half so rug replacement may be easy, just a small piece as long as its okay to keep lino there which to my mind is more practical than carpet. I dont know why I found all this so disturbing. Am exhausted tonight. Blessings, suki

I'm sure it was exhausting. It was EMOTIONAL!!!!!!!!!!!!! I got emotional about it. I am exhausted and it's not even my home/problem/family issue!
Boy, talk about counter transference! OY VEY!!!

Glad you seem to have solved the rug problem.

These things sure seem to take it out of you! I am glad you have your son there to help out with such things.

Have a Good Weekend!

Suki, try and be good to YOU today....unwind and take a drive somewhere... treat yourself to lunch. Thank goodnesss the wet carpet is gone - and so is the risk of mold! Now you can leave for the Cape, knowing Aaron will take good care of the cats.

This all was so stressful though - so you should spend today on YOU....

Love,

♥ Robin ♥

I'm glad this part is settled for you,,,but I can be very stubborn, and I still wouldn't replace any carpet.
(arms crossed across my chest,,,tapping foot)

Have a good weekend, in any case!

Babs do you mean I shouldnt but new carpet for my brother? Or that you would just reuse the old carpet.

Actually the old carpet is just disgusting and awful and must go to the dump. But who pays for the new carpet hasnt been addressed yet. Today I pulled up the bedroom carpet too as a part of it got wet.
