The Wind as Artist

Very little snow on the ground, but what is there is crusty.

VERY windy today. The wind itself is a chisel, carving waves in the marble snow.

Howling and tossing the metal roof on this building.

I'm definitely a warm climate kind of person and just can't imagine cold like this! How did the pioneers cope in the past??!!

Maybe you could try putting on some old seventies disco music and dance like crazy till you warm up! :)

Sending you rays of warmth and sunshine from the summer side of the globe!

Inside my house the temperature is 69 as it always is... but I am stilled chilled from my venture outside today in the blast of arctic air.

What a lovely description for your wonderful photos. Yes, Mother Nature is quite the artist, isn't she? Windy and cold here, too, but our snow is gone.

oh how I love the cold, the snow and the wind. You describe it beautifully.

Suki, how poetic!

I have to tell you this is the first day the cold has gone right through my bones and I don't like it one bit!

It seems a bigger Nor'easter than last weeks is headed our way for New Year's eve and worse on New Year's day. Oh my!!!

I'm doing okay though. Warm house, good food, wine, kitty, doggy and husband for company. As long as I stay in!

Be warm and cozy...

Lolo

Thank heaven we no longer have those winds the last couple of days!
My bones don't completely thaw until August.
And my feet.
Beautiful words to accompany these artistic photos Suki,,,I can almost hear the wind whistle.

I have seen the work of the Wind artist before. It can be very creative and destructive.

Hi Suki, Looks like you are having sun, and wind and cold and snow! It like that, although the wind howling must be a little frightening....Here in Paris it's "tepid" temperatures and we have strong rains...I'd prefer snow and cold, but what can you do?:) Swap for a while?:)
love
