This is the last page for Karen C's book. You will be getting your completed and very beautiful book back soon Karen! I used canvas paper backed with pastel paper, a Vintage sewing machine card, magazine tear out, stick on letters, voile and bead and cloth do-hicky I had made before. Background is dressmakers tissue.
For Soulbrush, I wanted to send a sun to warm the cold, damp London winter. Sun is from some Asian tissue paper, glitter, puff letters, bead and strip of collaged papers.
The back says "May the long time sun shine upon you, all love surround you and the pure light within you guide your way home." This is some kind of traditional saying, author unknown by me anyway. I first heard it in a class on psychic stuff I was taking on the Cape. I never forgot it.

Oh how rich they both are!
The top one would be great for Lynn as well!
being a Leo, I'm drawn to that sunshine face :)
These are beautiful pages Suki.
xoxo
I'm laughing at Lolo's remark as I thought the same! ;-) but great for Karen too of course and she will appreciate it.
I also love the Sun for Soul and the quote! (Interesting that we both delved into the psychic in our pasts...not too surprising match either.)
A beautiful project, this.
Both pages are great Suki.
i adore this sun suki, you know exactly what this girl needs right now.thank you so very much, it is truly wonderful. i wonder how soon mine will be finished, any idea from what you saw?
soulbrush, I mailed your book to Karen C. who mails then to to Katie Jane and when she's done she mails it back to you. Almost there !!!!
Suki, these are so beautiful and I apologize for being so late in commenting on them. I will get them posted to the Girlfriends blog this evening. (They ARE for the Girlfriends, aren't they?)
Katie Jane, I just posted those pictures today. Yes, they are for the Girlfriend's book. It gets confusing. I posted the pictures to the artysoulsisters site by mistake.
How do I get to be one of the Girlfriends?
These are pretty pages you have done. I am sure they will love them.
How lovely, Suki. In Karen's it's the "do-hicky" that makes it sing. In Soulbrush's, it's the sun.
I would like the sun to PHYSICALLY shine on me at the moment-- it is freezing cold here and even my studio can't quite warm up to my liking-- but good to read about sunshine :-)
What a nice saying!
Also perfect to read for yourself!
You know how I love sunshine so this page is gorgeous!
It is probably another book than the one I worked on since the size is different, but I think Soul is invoilved in more book projects.....
Good to see you are so creative again!
