That's one of my yoga class favorites...and, actually, I hadn't realized the version I generally hear in yoga classes was sung by Snatum Kaur until some friends took me to see her perform last spring...
So peaceful to sit here and listen to while sipping hot tea...dealing with the beginning of a cold, so glad to have this morning healing before setting off to work today. Thank you kindly.
YogaforCynics, I knew the words, but had never heard Snatam Kaur or anyone sing it before I did a youtube search. in fact I had never heard of Snatam Kaur but I adore her voice so now may get a CD. We have never sung this song in Yoga class.
I'd never heard of her, but she has a most hauntlingly beautiful voice. I love that title, Long Time Sun! Enjoyed seeing your completed pages in your previous post too, Suki,,,especially the sun one. Could sure use some of that right now,,,we're in the freezer here.I know you are too, but hope you've had some sun!
Hi Suki, that's bizarre, I can't open the image/video(?) ,that already happened with the things you posted before, I'll have to check that out... have a great weekend love Andrea

Beautiful! I just sent it to two of my non-blogging friends.

That is so comforting, Suki. And "elucidating" of the reference you put in Soulbrush's book.
Oh! I just recently heard of her while looking for more Kirtan chants! What a beautiful voice and song...
