two girlfriend's books

On my return from the Cape two girlfriend's books awaited me. Here is my page for Lynette's book which had a butterfly theme.

And my page for Karen M's book with a bee theme.

Marianne, I'll only be able to show you the book that started out as mine as there are ten books all to return to the originator at the end.

I'm not sure about Bibbity. She seems despondant. I know she wants to go outside and I let her out yesterday for a brief time. That cheers her up. However, this morning I saw a fox or fox like animal out there so I'm keeping the cats in. thanks for asking.

Lovely pages Suki. I love the gold. And the photo of the old woman sewing! And the added lace. Oh so many details to like here.
Wondering if you are working on any other art projects at this time? I miss seeing your art.

Lovely pages. Love your themes. Bees and Butterflies.
Yes I would keep the kitties in with Foxes around. Just make sure they can see outside. With all the bird action going on outside our cats love the sunroom. They feel like they are out there.

not good for the kitties but how great to be surrounded by wildlife!

Lynn, am not working on anything right now though really enjoy doing the round robin books. the woman sewing a quilt is a photocopy of a collage I made using a picture of my great-grandma Susan who quilted blind towards the end of her life.

cris, kitties have a screened porch with low screens so they can see out.

marianne, i think it was a fox anyway. But it was not a red fox, and a funny color for a fox.

thanks Teri. Oh and the bees and butterflies are not my themes but Karen's and Lynette's.

These are beautiful, Suki, and so appropriate for each book. I will get them up on the Girlfriends blog right away!
