M. Heart is hosting a Winter Blues Week in which you post blue photos. I may only get to this one but here it is. One of Mom's Lenox birds. Actually it is hard to find blue things, at least indoors. Now having said that I will most likely see a lot of blue today.

Cris, thanks for asking. I am still packing. There was/still is a lot of stuff here. Tomorrow the auction man comes out to see if the glassware is worth auctioning. Meanwhile I have seen one house up here and although incredibly cute it was only 588 square feet!! with an awkwardly shaped yard. The heat was via a pellet stove and a gas heater. To me it would have made a lovely summer cottage but in the winter?
Chewy, glad your winter blues are gone. Definitely things are looking up here too though no flowers in sight. Reminds me i should go clip some forsythia branches to force.
BSD, I saw Laura Linney interviewed on some tv program and they talked about her role in "John Adams" and showed clips and that is what drew me to watch it. So far yes, very good and a good review of American history highlights.

At this moment in time blue is my favorite color and I am getting ready to paint my bedroom blue. The photo of the bird is intense and lovely. Glad you are feeling chipper :-).

It is not at all hard to find blue things inside The House in the Woods :-) Alot of blue glasses :-)
i don't have much blue inside either suki (except the new tile). but it's been wonderful seeing what everyone is coming up with this week!
Most of the stuff in my house is either blue or green, but light shades like beach glass.
This is a sweet figurine. Bluebirds always remind me of happiness. Perhaps that's what's in the wind for you Suki. I hope so. ;)
