Today, Sunday, was a gloriously warm day. Maybe that's why the sunset was so spectacular.
It took me 20 minutes to get these photos here. I finally had to send them to my desktop and fetch them to my blog from there. It used to be so easy. Now it is so hard. I think I'm going to have to hire someone to help me with this. Arghhh.

Suki,
I sure wish I knew how to help you with this photo problem. I can't imagine having to give up the Suki Photos I so adore.
These photos are absolutely no exception...they are truly incredible. I am glad it was warm for you there today. I am sure it was a wonderful feeling...even if dealing with the photo upload was not!
Hugs, Sweet Suki!
i saw the sunset tonight too! i love seeing your view of it. it was truly amazing. i'll have photos posted tomorrow morning and i'll link to you.
These are wonderful photos Suki. Glad you got them on.
You know, I had a tad of trouble with blogging photos today too. Maybe blogger is having a problem and it's not us at all. Let's hope they figure it out soon.
what a contrast: the beauty of the universe and the maddening of technology!!
hang in, suki. you have my sympathy.
:)
Thank for taking the time to show us these amazing photos.
Fire and Ice! Really beautiful. Good that you are getting some warmth up there. I hope your technical probs, get sorted out soon, it can be so frustrating!
Thanks Kim. thanks for wanting to help me anyway. The colors of the real sunset were way more vivid and spectacular than these. It gave me an uplifted feeling.
M. Heart, so the whole western area of the eastern area got the same sunset??? I am anxious to see your pictures. I couldnt seem to get the vivid colors to come across and wonder if that's my camera or what??
Thanks Lynn. Actually I think it's either the computer itself or the Picasa program which is a google program and which keeps saying "not responding" but then suddenly it will respond and the photos will appear. It is weird.
Interesting thought KJ about the contrast of nature's beauty and man's mechanics. I like that.
thanks Britt-arnhild. Do you have glorious sunsets there?
Patti, I like your analogy too. Fire and ice. Indeed. Now if I could paint that.
These were well worth the 20 minutes it took. I know there was an orange glow out here but I was trapped inside work until dark last night.
Sorry you are having such a problem with the photos...I am horrible with patience for those type of things!
Beautiful photos.
Sorry your having so much trouble. maybe they updated your piccasa and changed it.
What a glorious sunset! I try to capture as many as I can because we'll never see the same one twice.
I have a feeling your mom enjoyed this one with you :)

I hope you get the technical difficulties resolved. I'd hate to miss your pics!
Suki,
I have a difficulties with FaceBook's interface when I try to upload photos. For Blogger, I always upload photos from my desktop.
These are G to the L to the O R I U S.
Karen, I am so sorry about your entrapment. I hope it is over now and you can see the sky.
Cris, the picasa did update to 3 recently. I wonder if it is in conflict with my computer somehow. At any rate I am getting the photos up there it just takes longer.
Chewy, oh. That's interesting that you upload from the desktop. Oddly I transferred several photos to the desktop and did it that way and then I couldnt figure out again how I got them to the desktop the first time. So part of this may be my addled brain.
If you think these photos are glorious you should see M. Hearts.
These are well worth the effort. Just beautiful.
