You are getting better and better at using the right hand. These are good. the first one looks like it is drying up, in the second drawing they look plump and ready to use. good use of water color on them.
suki, this is beautiful garlic! Your drawing , and the lines are very interesting and the colour is great, it has really character, have a wonderful Sunday Andrea
i love, love, love, love, love, love these drawings!!!! love their liveliness and their funkiness, love their line and the wispy color...nice job! i've been popping in over the last few weeks to see what you've been up to but not commenting for awhile....these are delicious! you go, girl! love the pictures from your tour of the studios day, too ;-)
Suki! This is wonderful. I think you have found a real trick here with your line drawings. I adore the way this has turned out and the watercolor application is delightful. I hope you decide to do more of these...food is really a positive choice for doing these drawings, uh? Are you and Andrea trying to get me to do representational things, now? :) I think I will stick to enjoying yours!
Cris, I felt my right hand had a bit more control today for sure. Cris you make me laugh so sometimes. The first drawing is garlic and the second some onions. Guess I didnt really depict them very well, eh?
Andrea, thanks. My first little attmept to embellish with watercolor.
Yes, M. Heart. First garlic. Second onions. Ohhhhhh.....the day is just sooooo glorious.
Hi Mary. thanks so much. Coming from you, my watercolor teacher, I take your words with pleasure. Sorry I havent been commenting on your blog either between finger and trying to keep up with big draw folks (guess you arent doing the big draw?) I just havent been able to comment as much as in the past. However, I have been reading.
Marianne, i checked out your left handed drawing. Very lovely.
soulbrush, maybe i'm getting more confident in my right hand.
Babs, thanks. Does "the shadows are interesting" mean they are weird?? I am not very good at shadows.
Kim, I chose some food items as I wanted something from nature as opposed to a man made object and these were on my counter. Plus I love garlic (to eat) and the onions looked so sensual. Thanks for your comments.
Now you are making me want to try my hand at water colors. Have you been using them for years? These are really good drawings and the bit of color just makes them shine.
Lynn, I have not been using watercolors for very long. Plus, I use them then put them away because to me they are so difficult. I need to practice more I think.

They are both great! I have done a left-handed experiment as well (I am right handed).
I have to try these pencils as well.......
beautiful work suki, i can almost not see the difference in the hands you use.
Absolute looseness in the drawing, and love the colors. The shadows are very interesting also.
