Suki, this is wonderful! I don't know your plans for it, but this would make a lovely Holiday gift for someone. Beautiful art and quotes.
Aloha suki,
loving this, what creative ideas you have :)
I liked the previous draw you did with the hands and camera, Im always behind mine so theres hardly any pics of me.. but that's a neato idea.
Off to finish reading your blog for the week. Are you doing the Nano this year?
peace, kai
Suki,
This turned out so nice. Perfect quotes too! I love it!
This is sooooooo neat and beautiful!
Wow.. this is really cool. Did you do this in your new art room? Even better. :))
Oh, Suki, it is so beautiful :-).
Well done!
The new studio (which looks great by the way) is really bringing out your creativity Suki. These books are so original & the quotes a great idea.
I am again impressed with the abiltiy to make something so small so beautifully!
I love it...the whole idea of the book in the box.
I love artists books and this one is great. Like the box to keep it in and the quotes.
What a gorgeous treasure chest!
Love everything about it. The 2 quotes which are connected.......
The colors the leaf, like I said everything!
See you have a new header again with a stunning fall picture!
wonderful, it looks like a ritual object, the colour is warm and sunny and makes me want to touche it, the box is cute!
And the quotes are a really treasure which fits so well in this treasure box...

Andrea
Oh, this is wonderful! The quotes go together so perfectly. Such attention to details! Very creative.
Suki, this is so cool. I love how you have used this little bamboo box and created this beautiful, tiny book. And the book is so great...not to mention the quotes which say so much. I am so drawn to the whole piece.
You are amazing!
Sooooo tiny.
You do so much with such a little thing.
Always loved those quotes!
Beautiful gift idea, yes,,,,,,
Thanks Katie Jane. I will put it on Etsy I hope.
Kai, I took the picture of my hands using the self-timer device on my digital camera. This big draw is the only challenge I can do. I'm pretty fly by night.
Thanks Karen.
You're too kind, Teri.
Cris from now on all work is done in new room except for melted wax which is still outside.
thanks annie.
Patti, the new roomm is working out well I think. Thanks for your kind words.
Lynn I dont make many small things. Im a large motor skill person. But i make a few.
fiorobbo, thanks.
Marianne, again thanks. the leaf is covered in wax which preserves it. It was just lucky for me to find two Picasso quotes that fit on the small pages. The quotes can't have too many words in them.
Andrea, thanks. I do love painting the decorative papers this way. Thanks for seeing it as a ritual object. That makes me feel good.
Thanks Difference. As said above just luck I found these two quotes. Wish I had my art bks so I could get more quotes, by less commonly quoted artists.
Kim thank you. You are too kind. I like making these one of a kind books so hope to make more. Actually I have made another without quotes in it which I will show soon.
Babs, its fun to make small things once in awhile though to me it is sometimes harder than large things.
I'm glad you showed the shot with your fingers! It's SO teeny!! Really adorable.
willow, thanks.
