My new daughter in law loves angels, she ends her emails with a quote about angels.It says: "Angels are those moments when time stands still and life just seems to fit. Have courage and recognize the angels in your life."

The process is the core of delight for me. I was out in the gardens today planting out an annual bed (my only one) and I marvelled at how invogorated I felt every step of the way. It is nice to lean back and gaze at the finished product, but then I am eager to begin anew in another area.
I love your angel wrapped in such clear vivid colors espressing hope and blossoms and life. I agree with Britt-Arnhild ... looks like a great greeting card. (You can tell I still like a snail-mail card over an e-card with all its animation, sound, and typed text. Bring on the handwritten and unique!)

Thanks Kim. I was particularly conscious this time when painting of taking a picture every now and again. Other times I forget.

Cris, thanks. Yes, acrylics certainly dry faster and the clean up is so much easier.
Thanks Debbie. YOur gardens thrive on your care and revisions. I too like snail mail very much. Yet, seldom write letters anymore thus I seldom receive them. Have a lovely time there in CA.
this is an amazing show of your painting! i love the progress and all stages are artworks on its own.
An angel "less ordinary",,,and I like that! By that, I mean the bright colors that normally aren't associated with angels.
And really fun to watch over your shoulder.
Hope we didn't cause you to make that drip!

i love that everyone's angels seem to reflect their very specific and sweet personalities, beliefs and appearances, that each of our angels is maybe a reflection of our better or best selves? love seeing your process....

Babs, I hadnt thought about the colors. Maybe it's the yellow wings which I may temper. Angels arent bright? Babs, I am a drip myself! The first layer is so thin it tends to drip.
