Wild West and Forever Yours wax collages

Okay. Two more wax collages finished. Wild West.
Edge of Wild West.
Vintage photo on Wild West.
Forever Yours. Pine needles, pine cones, vintage photo. It's funny but this one I didn't like much until I painted the sides this blue/green. Now it's one of my favorites.

The background is a vintage map. These are both now listed in my Etsy shop.

this is beautiful, my goodness, you amaze me, with the nature of your work, the beauty, the colour, the oldy-worldy look of it, just gorgeous.

I missed this somehow.
Beautiful work. You need to get in a show to sell these. I bet they would sell well too. They are lovely. I love the three girls outside posing. are these the old photos you picked up recently?

I just adore looking at all the images peeking through the wax.

I'm coming back to comment here, on posts I failed to comment on before. Soulbrush you are too kind. Yes, old-worldy look is what I was trying for. I also like a kind of faded look, nostalgic I suppose.

Mary, thank you.

Cris, yes these are the bunch of photos I found in a cape cod thriftstore all from the turn of the last century up to the early 40's.

thanks babs. In the end I really liked the effect of the pine needles and cones with the drippy wax.

human being thanks for mentioning the edges. My bete noir.
