Interview photos

For some reason my interview photos uploaded to Kim's computer small and I noticed they can't be enlarged. Anyone who would like to see them larger can go here to a Picasa web album I created of those photos. You can click on the photos to enlarge them. :)

Thank you, Suki, for this! It is the perfect way to show these larger...I know the readers appreciate it a lot, too.

You are so loved!

KIm, was hoping you'd be okay with this. I don't know why they couldn't enlarge on your computer. And I'm not going to try to figure it out. Anywya, this works for those that want larger pics.

human being, thanks for looking again. YOu can see more details when they are enlarged.

Andrea, thanks for telling me your favorites. I love the beeswax collages too and am almost set up to make more. Just need the crock pot to melt the wax in and I'm set.

Thank you, Suki. I did want to see them larger, and realized that I couldn't, but now I can. I love your handmade paper collages. I like to do things with paper too. I made some a few years ago and I still have it. You are inspiring me to do something with it.

Elizabeth, but perhaps NY will offer some amenities and excitement of its own kind. Have fun. At least you are used to the heat.

Thanks Katie Jane. Handmade paper is a marvel. I'd like to get back to it again too. Too bad we don't live near each other, we could make paper together.

So glad you made this available Suki. I always like to be able to get up close & personal with the art!
Some fabulous work here,,my favorite is the hand made paper wall hanging,,,but also love the canvas collage. You are very clever with collage,,,that isn't always easy. Wish I know more about the paper,,,,it looks so intriguing!

Thanks Babs. The handmade paper for the wallhangings is not made into sheets first. I grind up the main ingredients in a blender then push the clumps of pulp into a form I made out of a cardboard box lined with plastic. You can press shells, branches etc in at this time too. Then it takes several weeks to dry as it is thick. The one shown which looks like trees I did not paint. The dark brown came from adding earth and dark leaves to the pulp. The green and yellow came from dying the pulp. On the second wallhanging of the drumming woman, I used white pulp I later painted with acrylic.
