Wall Art

In a nearby town. This post follows on the tail of Katie Jane's wall art post. And someone else showed wall art, was it Lynn?

As I was walking to find the first picture, I discovered the following that I hadn't seen before. That's the thing about walking. The world is so different. You see things you miss in a car.

These are harder to see. I couldn't get down to the fence as it was quite a slope. Click to enlarge.

Suki!

These are wonderful! I love wall art and there are some really great shows around, too. Just look at the color this art brings to this otherwise boring wall.

Keep finding this great art, Suki.

Peace

Suki great pictures. I love the brick walls with the paintings. The last one is magic, the blue shining through the leaves.
You live in a very beautiful place, too.love

These are fabulous Suki. It is amazing how much more we do see by walking. I see something different every time we go walk and we can walk the same area.
Lynn and I had put up wall Art too after Katie Jane did. I must look out for more around here. Its fun to discover something new thats been right in front of our noses. :)

i forgot to say how i was filled with joy and pride when i saw you have put the link to Marianne's trip to Tehran in your blog...
love to you dearest friend...
i should be thankful to you for lots of things... among them all the non-Iranian blog friends i've got... you were the first one and you were a kind and caring bridge connecting me to other lands....

thanks Kim. I haven't seen much of it around here but will keep my eyes open.

Hi andrea. It is such fun to find these surprises in an otherwise sort of dull town.

thanks Human Being. I had fun taking the pictures.

Cris, oh yes. You were the other person who posted some wall art. Thanks for stopping by.

human being, i was so excited when I saw that Marianne had gone to Tehran and posted photos I wanted to share it and them with everyone. !

Suki, this is the best wall art, EVER! So cool! I am still looking for more, but I'm not finding as much as I thought I might. Takes time.

You are so right about walking, tho. Everyone misses so much by whizzing by in a car. Bicycles are great for this too.

Suki, these are all fabulous, but those windowed silhouettes against blue--I love them!

Suki - you live in such beautiful country - full trees, greenery everywhere and art even on the walls. i don't know where the "north country" is ... but it's beautiful.

Came back to look at the wall art. What I like most here is the sun on the bricks, I love those bricks and also the incredibly blue sky behind it. And I love the last one, very inspiring, I think it makes me want to paint black silhouettes on intense blue.
Also I wanted to tell you that your post about PAUSING really helped. Today I had several moments where I consciously paused and thought about what you wrote. So I sat in my living room in front of the tiny balcony, doors open, (you can't sit on the balcony but I put flowers on it, geranium, a hortensia which is beginning to open it's white blossoms and others) with the cat, just looking and enjoying and taking in the noises from the neighbourhood.
Love and thanks to you Suki, from Oscar too!
namaste:)

FY that's interesting, no wall art in LOndon. No graffiti either?

Sandpiper, thanks for looking.

Katie Jane, well you inspired us all to SEE the wall art around us. I think these may have been done by high school kids, not sure.

San--maybe I can walk down the alley some day and get better shots of the blue and black silhouettes.

Honor, it is beautiful here true and I love it summer, spring and fall. However, my bones ache and tremble in the cold winter which though beautiful, is not my cup of tea.

Andrea, thanks for coming a second time. I love the way you do that. There are lots of brick buildings in this whole area. Many were once factories now just vast empty buildings. Love the story of your Pause. What a lovely place to pausein too. Cats in fact are excellent pawsers :) Hi Oscar.

Andrea, thanks for commenting on my silly pun

Marianne, I find graffiti interesting too. Your welcome re: human being. I thought it was just so wonderful you had been to Tehran. It feels so far far away and there you just popped in. Thanks for the photos of it. Be well, suki
