Mom's progress

Mom is doing well in rehab. She walks down the hall with her walker, has had no shortness of breath since they cleared the fluid out of her lungs and no heart pain since they restarted her heart medications (which they stopped due to an upper GI disturbance a few weeks ago.) She feels ready to come home so it's just a matter of seeing if the doctor agrees. She looks pretty good to me.

Thank you all for your interest in Mom and for your good wishes and prayers. Blessings to all. Suki

Wow! So happy to hear that! The best news to end my day with! Now I can go to bed with a relieved heart!
You and your mom were on my mind all these days.
Kiss her for me.
Love.

Oh thank goodness. I am so happy for mom and for you too.
This is reminding me of my MILs ordeal this past summer when we feared we'd lose her. But she rallied too and now is doing fine in her nursing home. Her daughter also visits often. And takes Ma out to plays and such in their area. She even travels two hours to see her grandson, our nephew, act on stage at his University of Minnesota! We are looking forward to visiting them again in June.

I hope your mom gets to come home real soon. Tell her there are alot of us out here praying for her wellness.

Thank you everyone for your good wishes for mom. And prayers. I think they are working to help her over this hump. Mom has actually been near death any number of times and has always pulled through, but she is getting pretty tired and weak in some ways. Yet I think the will to carry onward is still strong. Fingers crossed.
