I have been feeling dull and without challenges to stretch my mind, body, senses, talents and life. So I wrote a list, inspired by Britt-Arnhild's list for her 50th year.
Challenges
meet new friends and reconnect with old friends
get my things out of storage and into my own home where I can unpack and settle in
learn something new
listen to more music
take a workshop for yoga or art or spirit
travel someplace new or old
read a difficult book to stretch my mind
remember to breathe and be kind
I wrote a longer list in my journal, but this is enough to focus on for now.

This is a great beginning list. Now, can you be more specific? Where is your home? What does it look like? I realize you don't know but what would you like? Visualization requires specifics. Same with the workshop, etc. Where? When? You can always change your mind. Besides, it's fun. Maybe you live in Paris.....;-)
A very good idea.
I love making such lists. Whenever I've got one,I feel more determined to do them.
Wish you the best on achieving them all.
Hugs
Thanks Mary re: being specific. I am a bit more specific in my journal but wanted to keep the list simple for the blog--ie I have 3 places in mind for a workshop, Rowe, Kripalu and great River Arts but just didn't want to go into the smaller details of those i knew the smaller details of...
Thank you hb. Yes, I think a list sets your m ind working consciously and subconsciously on the ideas listed. It gives a focus.
I'm a big list writer too. For some reason it gets it out of my head, especially at night when I get those thoughts and I can go back and refer to it later on see how much I acccomplished.
Is that flower the one you had in bud? it is awesome.
Good luck Suki :-)
Oh Suki, the Amaryllis is blooming! What a miracle, she is very impressive.
Your list sounds like a nice gift you made to yourself today. I like it a lot and some of these things would be on my today's list too:) Have a good day and be gentle with yourself.

To those who wondered, yes, that is the amarylis that was a bud but yesterday and is now two and soon to be three blooms.!
Remembering to breathe and be kind might be enough, Sukipoet. It is a discipline that some practice in an effort to find nirvana.
I think you may be right Annie. Remembering to breathe and being kind are no small things. and out of that will arise all else. Peace, suki
Oh there must be something about turning 50! I will be so next month and in January made a life list.
Lovely blog, I will return!
Suki, I hope you are having a fine day today, finding your balance. Love

Wonderful list...wonderful way to get yourself moving in new directions...
I vaguely remember a while back feeling bogged down in life, my work all consuming, wondering what else I could do to make life more exciting, more enjoyable for myself. And now I have quilting and art and blogging and friends from all over the world. I manifested this with that first thought, that feeling of being bogged down...now if anything, I am Blogged Down! LOL and I LOVE IT!
Good luck with manifesting what you want and need in YOUR life Suki!
My favorite affirmation is: "This or something better is coming to me now!"
Lynn I know that affirmation from Shakti Gawain. All to add "for the highest good of all concerned."
