Yesterday's projects

I have been trying to finish some of my wall hangings and the first altered book (not shown here). The final touches are so small as to be invisible to others. Putting on backing, adding hemp or twig hangers and so forth. I am going to place these few items on an Etsy site just to have something to do with them, some push to finish them. Meanwhile I also played with shapes and colors on this painting you have seen before.
I also made some decorative papers. I had seen a post on Judy Wise's blog about papers she made. She could not reveal the secret however. So I just took some tissue paper and rolled and splattered on some colors. I know the paper will come in handy.

HI Suki! Thanks for you encouraging comments on my new plans!
I love your paper and the painting, it is amazing how these colours remind me of sun and heat, nature in August or something like that! I guess you need these colours out there in the snow. They are truely beautiful,
I'm looking forward to see all the wallhangings and the altered book. Have a lovely day and thanks for being there!
Love

Beautiful colors. Yes Andrea is right I think your colors are making up for all that blandness there right now. ETSY. Your the third person who has mentioned it. HOw have I missed this? Thanks for you nice comments on my blog daily. You help spur me on. Thanks.

These look like a lot of fun. I like the paintings you're doing, too!

These papers look beautifully metallic and scrumptious. That little black cat in your side-bar gave me quite a giggle, I think I'll get one too! :)

You've been very creative... I love the colors.... full of life and at the same time mystery.

Haven't commented in awhile, but I had to tell you that the colors in that top painting on your blog were just what I needed to see today. Beautiful! I sink into it.

I just spent about 10 minutes petting your cat and even had to call my husband in to show him. Ha ha ha, that's so cute. Thanks for the link; love your paper. xoxo

Thank you everyone for the reflections on my painting, and the papers. Yes, I guess the colors are bright for my spirit. I actually didn't like the colors on the tissue papers until I put on the gold. They aren't really "my" colors. But they are what I splashed on.

Fireant, I commented on your blog but thanks for stopping by. Sorry about your blog friend's death.

Marianne, am charmed by your digital mandalas coming from Frieda's pictures. What fun. Thanks for your reflections.

Judy thanks for dropping by. Yes, that cat is a trip as we used to say and I got the widget link from Marianne.
