Trees and snow painting

As continued small putterings with the robe and the board book continue, I am restless. So I take out a canvas board panel ( I havent used these since high school--prefer stretched canvas) and began a painting. No photo and I can't see the scene from my nearly windowless studio so it is from memory.
I love it when paint drips like this.
It is not finished but this is where it is now.

Wow Suki, This is cool, and out of your head too. I like how you're documenting it from the start. Cant wait to see it done. I need to get back to my creating. I just never get a chance for some time out to just putter & read so I'm doing that at the moment but ideas are swirling around in my brain wanting to come out soon. ;)
Thanks for sharing.

I forgot to mention that I also liked what you said about seeing the glass half full instead of half empty in your comments below. Well put.

I loved your showing your progress on this painting Suki. Fun to see it evolve. And from memory yet. I recall my drawing teacher say that it took years to be able to draw or paint from memory. You are GOOD!

Yes, seeing the process of creation is really fascinating.
This picture tells me of something more than trees and snow... I see the trees as some people wearing robes as if they are in a ritual...
I like the mood very much...waiting to see more...
Lots of love

Suki, it is lovely. As if the moon was shining on the water...
Great colours, I love it,

thanks everyone for your comments. Itfelt good to splash paint around. Maybe I can do more today.

When I say paint from memory that also means, to me, from imagination as to me they are similar. If not the same.
