Beautiful. The interesting thing for me is the shape of clouds and the triangle of the sky which is like a mountain... there's no mountain, but you feel one...
I left a comment but it disappeared. arrgh. anyway I said that I too see a mountain or feel one. HB has a good eye. This is also a warm feeling winter scene.. It is going to be lovely too. I too like taking photos as I work on a piece. It helps me see what I could improve on in the future and it is just fun to see the progress.

Oh, this is lovely. You have definitely captured the essence of snow, the feeling of a snowy landscape.
