Art Every Day leaf collage

This is one I threw together using scraps from a larger collage. I made leaf rubbings with black oil pastel on the tissue paper then painted the leaves with acrylic. See my earlier post for a step by step description of the earlier stages of this process. This one I gave to my Mom. Acrylic, tissue paper, oil pastel and fly fishing fibers.

I like the colors you used and the leaf print in it. I bet your mom loved it too.

This is so where I am at at the moment, autumn colours, leaves, fly fishing and GOLD!
I LOVE it!

oooo....I'd forgotten all about rubbings; can't remember the last time I did one. Will have to do one for art every day.... thanks for the reminder!

Very beautiful collage. Thank you for sharing the technique, it is very inspiring. Makes me want to rubb right now.
The colours of you collage are warm and cosy.
