AED Sunday Poem "For Rent"

FOR RENT

Unusual structure near beach:
two arms, fingers beringed.
Two legs, feet bare.
Grey head packed with memories.
Trunk contains well-worn life enhancing systems
though lacks a heart.
But you can get them cheap at Job Lot.
No smoking, pets okay.
Suitable for one person.
$800/month, heat included.
Available now. Lease. References.
Only the serendipitous need apply.

I LOVE the tree in the photo. what a great shot you got. I wish I understood poetry better. This one I think I understand. Is this you?

Yes i was feeling angry that i had no place to live and also no beloved so I vented my anger in this sort of ironic poem and it is me that is for rent.

This is a " Ohhhhh" picture. How awsome, you have captured something special here.
I have to read the poetry more than once to let the words sink in.
Have a great beginning of a week,
Andrea

I came back to look at the picture: the blue-greens, the yellow-greens, the blue-greys, the reds. I just love this photograph.

I liked the poem! And I got it! ;-)
I saw it as powerful, not going to be taken advantage of...
