More on Romeo and Juliet

The house where Romeo and Juliet live is filled with Claire Murray carpets. Claire Murray began hooking her wool rugs on Nantucket. Now she has shops from Florida to Massachusetts. All rugs are hand hooked. Every year a nearby shop has a half-price sale and Romeo and Juliet's owner hustles down there and has through the years purchased various sizes and patterns of rugs that grace the living room, dining room, bedroom and bathroom floors.

This darling rug is in the downstairs bathroom. Alas, I found vomit on it yesterday. I tried to wash it off with some kind of spray cleaner but the stain remains.

Another nearby view. Wouldn't you love to spend some time reading and painting in this sweet cottage?

A basket of marbles in the garden.
