Finally called the potential new landlady and said I had to work some things out before I committed to signing a lease. IE: that I was turning down the option to rent the house. So how am I feeling after doing that? Ok, with some regrets as the house was SOOOOO perfect for us all including the cats.
Maybe it's still reversable? Maybe my anxiety about taking the house was just transition anxiety.
Ellen Langer says: "When in transition we are in a 'void' between what was and what will be. If we feel upset and negative and attribute these negative feelings to our choice rather than the fact of the transition, we may think we've made the wrong decision."
So I have 3 months to find another house. Or whatever.....................
