These are the paper towels I used to blot the paint. This was supposed to be the last photo. Oh well.

Tissue paper painted with acrylic with two leaf skeletons glued on with matte medium. I will continue decorating today with more
metallics.

For the following papers I used rice paper. The above had been painted first. Then I accordion folded it (when dry) as you would to make a fan. Then I folded the "fan" in half and then in half again till I ended up with a little rectangle of paper. This I wet.

I dipped the wet paper into blobs of watered down acrylics on my pallet. Another way to stain the paper would be with a dropper full of ink or paint. This is a different sheet from the above. It was a
pre-colored yellow rice paper sheet.

Once stained, unfold the paper, place it on newspaper or freezer paper to dry. This sheet was white, unpainted, when I folded it and stained it.

Another step could be to refold the stained papers in another direction and stain them a second time which I may do today.
