I bought this beautiful felted brooch from
Sara at her Etsy shop. It arrived yesterday. Isn't it amazing? She pinned it to these book pages which are machine sewed around the edges. The face is hand painted and embroidered.
She included a felted bookmark too as an extra gift. From looking at her blog I now want to try felting. I can just feel the wool in my hands. You can felt with your hands and also with tools but my hands ache to do it. My friend A. who used to weave has a lot of carded wool so maybe I can get some from him and try.
