I bought some cheap 8 by 10 canvases at Job Lot and have begun painitng some quick, or so I envisioned, paintings for my ETSY site. Colors photograph duller than they are. This one is done and listed for $45.
This one is just about done. All of these are taking gobs more time than I thought. Plus I feel the first few are stiffer than I like.
Angel is a work in process.
As is this one. A first draft so to speak. However I like this last one a lot. Did no sketch first, just slapped on the paint. A freer style. We'll see what happens.
Meanwhile I followed some on-line directions, and at last was able to sign in to my blogger account which I have been unable to do for months. I hope it lasts. I hope also I didnt delete the URL's of all the blogs I follow. Sigh. Happy Spring.

please advise me as to pricing. Is $45 too much for this sort of work???
$ 45 is very reasonable, suki, and higher would be reasonable too. I like that last one a lot too: she may have had hard knocks but she is a dreamer :-)
So glad you are painting

I love the the little "Buddha" one! Is this a new genre for you? Wonderful creative expressions... Have no idea on the cost... Glad you found a way back onto blog again :)
Happy Painting!
So fun to see you painting again. It must be the spring weather inspiring you to bloom. I think you are quite reasonable price-wise. It seems that most small paintings are $45. It all depends on your time.
Thank you all for your pricing thoughts.
Mystic, not sure what you mean but I seldom have painting buddhas. I have been working in a sketchbook for awhile and have taken some imaged from the work I did in it. One of which was this buddha.
Hi Suki, wow, I love this! I love the little Buddha one, it's such a happy little thing! And the others are great too! go on slapping that paint on the canvas:) I also like the painting in your header, I guess that is a self-portrait, I very much love the expression ! concerning price I agree with jk ...
