T'is the Season

Only to say thank you to all my friends and relations for walking with me in this blink of time together on the green and blue earth.

So many blessings.  I pray to have my eyes and mind see the blessings and not the angst.  I pray this for you also.  Not to overlook or discount the sorrows of life, the prevarications and earthquakes and storms.  But more...in each storm....to be able to turn ones eyes to another facet.  To accommodate within this container of self, life in all its contradictions, paradoxes and beauty. Namaste.

The Christmas bulbs were my sister-in-laws. I am their caretaker for this year anyway. My own personal bulbs I ditched long ago.  The angels my Mom made.  I have ten.  The tree card Lilac Robin sent me last year.

KJ I wrote this post before I heard the news about Newtown. I grew up very near Newtown and many of my Mom's relatives were from there. Heartbreaking.

Thank you for this generous wish at Christmas time...the kind of gift that goes on giving. Sometimes it's very hard to find the light in the darkness, but if we go deep enough within the spark is there.
