A Wonderful Vacation

A little cottage in Wellfleet.  I think this is part of a bed and breakfast.  Right across from the harbor.

 Another Wellfleet house undergoing renovation.

Here is where the poetry group met.  Adorable cafe with several rooms for chatting.  Lots of art on the walls.

My friend and I took a long walk on a West Dennis beach.  Lots of kite surfers there (sort of like windsurfers but the sail is up in the air like a kite.)  I didn't have my camera that day.

The open expanse.  No trees.  So different from New Hampshire.

Beautiful photos! You were missed...but, I knew you were where you should be...with friends, with the shore, the cries of the sea birds...the sound of the waves...the exchange of glorious words.

Welcome back Suki! I'm glad you had good weather and a wonderful time on the Cape. There is nothing like the ocean and the small (or even large) communities that gather around it.
