A cloutie well scarf from Annie

Isn't it lovely. So delicate and Annie painted little butterflies and dragonflies on the cloth. So I braved the mosquitoes and hung it at the well. The well is dry right now. The cloutie glen is peaceful. Prayers for all those who are suffering.

Thanks Annie! Anyone who would like to mail me a cloth to add, it doesnt have to be long like these, any shape you, like contact me at sukipoet(at)gmail(dot)com and I'll send you my address.

The idea, for those who are new readers here, is to create a place of healing and prayers with these special "flags." There are cloutie wells in Ireland and Great Britain, but not so many here in the US.

What a beautiful, delicate, sensitive prayer this is to hang over the well.

That is SO beautiful!
Delicate, wispy, soft. I can see it sway in the breeze from here!
And I love that by painting on it she added something of herself to the prayers.
Great job Annie!

(and kudos to you Suki for braving the skeeters!)

A very pretty cloth! I love your cloutie well, I'm sure it has special power to heal!

P.s. thanks for letting me know about the font being hard to read on my blog, I appreciated the feedback.
