Rosa Rugosa I have returned home from my Cape Cod interlude. I ate lobster roll minus the roll, bought a few books two of which I later discovered I'd already read.
I went on a weed walk at Cedar Spring Herb Farm where I saw this Buddha and endured heat prostration. Met an interesting woman who had lived in NH for many years.
Peony opening. Stayed with two different friends. Joined in with a writing group of five talented and successful women.
Lady Slippers Visited the beach a few times, not enough. That should have been a main focus. Met new people and old friends too. Returned to thunder and cold temps.

I am purrpetually behind in visiting but saw your post today and had to stop and say hi. Your time away sounded inspiring and yes, I need some beach time too. I was supposed to go with friends to cabin in the Smokies that never materialized and have a client at the hospital I work at who has a lovely home in Lewes, DE that is available during the week and I am trying to find a friend to go with me, I should post some pix on my 'human blog' just to stimulate me to get on it!
Welcome home Suki. I hope you are as refreshed as your header looks.
It all sounds restorative, Suki, even though beach time was at a minimum.
I love that Buddha.
I'm wondering if Thursday's storm reached the cape. it was a doozy! Almost like a short, mini hurricane with electrical lightening. Wild!
I'm glad you're home safely. I'm sure your fur-purrson is glad to see you.(and you, him!)
xo♥
Sounds like a good time Suki!
Sounds like the place to be for you.........
Hope you gained a lot of energy from this trip
Enjoy seeing your cat again♥
Nothing quite like a break away with friends. Whenever I'm at the beach, I never want to leave!
welcome home but oh - I too would miss the beach.
Suki. Glad you are back. If I am near the sea I can't be bribbed to do anything else :-). I hope you have come home relaxed and refreshed.xoxo
One can never get enough of the Sea. So glad you had all that time with your old and new Friends. HOpe you get to see them again soon.
There is never enough beach time .... I'm glad for you to have a getaway though. It sounds varied and connective.
suki, reading this, i just think you should plot and plan to get your beachy self back here as soon as possible!!!
♥
So happy you are back safely! You were missed!!!! (I KNOW Bibitty seconds this!)
I hope the trip was good for you - in all aspects. Seeing the Ocean must have been a delight....
Sending you and Bibs many big hugs!
Love,

Sounds like a wonderful trip! Always fun to get away from home and get a different perspective on things! Have you found a new home???
Looks like the gardens are lush with flowers in your part of the world.
Glad that you're back at your post, and that a mostly enjoyable get-away was had. It's good to leave a few activities undone as it gives one good reason to return.
It's good that you got away for a while. I'm happy that you enjoyed yourself. Nothing like the beach to refresh and renew.
