Tying cloths at the Cloutie well

Most of the snow is gone so at last I am able to walk up to the well which is full to overflowing with the spring snow melt and recent rains.

Today I tied two cloths to a bush near the well. The white is mine--a piece of canvas. The blue and brown is part of a kimono a friend sent me to tie at the well. Sending out prayers for healing for everyone. If you want me to tie a cloth strip here for you, mail it to me and I will.

Bibbity followed me out into the field. It was a lovely warm day and we had a good walk. Below is a video with the sound of the rushing stream.

So glad you and Bibbity are able to see ground and get around. That is a lovely sounding river of water. I love running water.

Suki, this is a wonderful post.
Nice to see the well again, and Bibs, be still my heart. He walked with you and was by your side as you tied the cloths.

I'll look around for a strip of cloth and send it to you as a prayer offering that all will be well.

Wow Suki, that is a marvelous ritual, the spot and Bibbity are gorgeous (I love the pic!). Our Goober loves to walk with us when the weather is nice.
This post made my heart smile.
Thank you.

This is a lovely ritual, makes me think of your prayer flag card (which is still sitting happily by the Buddha!)

The well, this is a sumptuous, mysterious image. And the colour of the moss is divine.

And so lovely to have kitty company on your walk. You lucky soul.

Glad for you that the snow has melted!

Oh that Bibitty! What an adorable one! I know the two of you are now closer than ever.... a great shot!!!!

The sound of running water is always so hypnotically soothing....I miss it.... (one thing you do not get living in a city....)

I am in the hunt for a piece of cloth to send.... I would like a part of me to be there too!

As for the magical Cloutie Well....it is just that.....magical....like something out of an Arthurian Tale!

Love to you and Bibs,

While my cats don't go outside, a walk in the woods with Bibbity sounds very healing...
