Openings

At last, a few warm days brings opening of flowers up here at the farm. At last, I can take off my long underwear. I even wore shorts yesterday.

The world looks so different when you can see it through flowers. Below, yet another video of the babbling brook. We have had lots of rain here and flooding in some areas. The streams are full. Today is another day of rain. The grass is looking so green I think I am in Ireland!

After work yesterday I stayed out in the yard until dark, pruning and raking and listening to the birds. I think all of us in New England are breathing a collective sigh of relief that spring has finally arrived!

Ah green instead of white. Nothing feels nicer then wearing a pair of shorts. Then you KNOW winter is over. :)

Doesn't it lift ones spirits to have the stream singing and the flowers blooming.
