Words for the Year Ahead

Passionate Persistence. Persistent is something I have been all my life, engaged in a quiet doggedness and plodding pathway to my goals. Acknowledging advice but following my own way no matter what anyone says.

Kinda boring, eh?

So this year I will add passion to my persistence. Plodding with gusto. Moving toward the energy. The light. The emotional resonance. ZEST for LIFE.

House with Bird by potter Barbara Bragg. Birds nest by an unknown Dummerston potter.

oh suki, YES!!! passion will change everything. I know this to be true, even through my loss i know the passion that i now have is worth everything.

i hope this doesn't sound sappy or condesending, but i am happy for you and i am proud of you.

KJ it was YOU and your passionate and kind self that brought the word passion to mind. Also, I think you have used it often in regards to yourself. I see you as a "doer", someone who gets things moving and shaking. I myself am a "be-er" (or is that beer, tee hee) which is okay at times but I want to let more passion into my life at all levels. So thank you for the inspiration and for your zest filled presence.

I love the new year. A time to wipe the slate clean and have a do-over. We have that each day though, really.
This year I'd like to hibernate until spring. Get healthy as I set up this big old house and emerge a new woman in the spring! Jeez, it all sounds so easy.

New year's blessings to you Suki.
I think we're all ready for that passion and persistance!

Fantastic words Suki!!

Passion means we care deeply and it is this that causes us to act. God loves action and when we make a move, no matter how small, we are sent all that we need to make it happen. Just you wait and see!!

I do see you as persistent - a wonderful quality to have.

Have a very happy transition to 2010!!

I certainly need that passionate persistence in many things I want to do Suki. Best of luck to you.

P.S. My last word verification was 'funpush'. It sort of fits the times.

Good advice for the New Year.
That blue bird rather looks like a whale, to me. :) Lovely finds.

I love and admire how you think and write Suki!

Suki, I also want more ACTION and not so much brooding for myself in 2010. I'm sure this is easier said than done, but hey, at least we've taken the first step by naming the intention aloud.

Passion,,isn't that an awesome word?
It simply boils over with excitement!
Just the thought of the NEW in New Year is exciting to me, and I think I felt that in what you wrote.
Reach out and grab hold!

Good thoughts to live with and it sounds and feels so much better than Soldier On! I will keep it in my thoughts as the new year begins!
