The Lost Camera

Firstly, I want to thank all of you who commented on my post about Mom. I love reading your words and feel so comforted by them. Thank you.

Secondly, yes we had our first snow yesterday. This photo is from last year however. Because I have lost my camera. I had it inside the house on Thursday, the last time I downloaded pictures. I went nowhere again until Saturday morning. So it is either hidden somewhere in the house, but I've looked everywhere including twice in the car, or I brought it with me Saturday and it got taken from the car.

Who am I without my camera? Life will happen and I can't record it visually. I guess I'll have to buy a new one. That could take awhile as it seems there is so much more important stuff to do. Meanwhile, I'll post old photos.

Did any of you have a snow this weekend??

Tonight we expect rain.
Sorry about your camera...it might just turn up...I found something important in a coat pocket weeks after searching everywhere else.

Oh I hate losing things. Seems like I spend my whole life looking for things anymore and they will be right under my nose. I hope this is too. and you find it soon.
No snow here but we had a freeze finally. the bird baths were frozen solid. more to come for the next few nights too. So the Lilacs and peonys will be happy this spring they got a freeze. :))

Oy, a lost camera, is like losing ones eyes! I do hope it shows up soon, or you do indeed get a new one. They are becoming less expensive and a new one might have new features you just love! A time to gift yourself?

It's windy here...dry leaves piling up in the backyard from all over the neighborhood, not just ours. I see why they call it fall!
The sun is shining and it's 49 degrees out. Cold for us. LOL
I'm glad I have three redwood trees that keep their green all year round.

Your mom post was quite touching, touched my heart! Hugs from me to you Sukipoet!

We had the first snowfall of the season overnight, and it's continuing a bit today. All is white, the sky is grey, the colours have been frozen out from this little patch of the world. I feel I should photograph it for blogging but am too discouraged. I think I'll just put a link to last year's snow shots!

I hope you find your camera soon. It must be there somewhere!

Oh no about the camera :( When she lost something my mom would say a prayer to St. Anthony to help her find it.

A nice snowfall here yesterday and last night, and the sun today turned everything beautiful!

Let's hope your camera turns up. I guess for sure you didn't drop it in the undergrowth and mow over it! I am always backtracking to discover where I might have left something I lost. Hugs and best wishes.

I would feel lost without my camera. I hope yours turns up. Did you look in the refrigerator?

No snow here yet. There is an 80%chance of snow tonight.

No snow here yet. What M. Heart said works. I am not even Christian, but I use this prayer because it works: "Tony, Tony, look around, something's lost and can't be found."

First, I love the poinsettia header! Really grabs your eye.
Second, hope you find your camera soon. So awful if you buy another and then find it later!
Third, please accept my belated regards concerning your previous post about your mother. I'm so glad you two could make amends before she died.
And fourth, no, we are having cold but beautiful sunny days.

we are clear skies here so far-- but it gets freezing cold when the skies are clear-- I keep hearing the word 'snow' though--

Oh that's so funny about St. Anthony! I say that because I have this fanatical Feng Shui friend and when she loses something she stands still and shouts..."REACH!!"
She then lets it go out of her mind and continues on about her business.
She swears her stuff shows up every time she stops thinking about it.

Good luck Suki! I'd miss your wonderful photos!

By the way, beautiful spruce tree ;)

suki, you go and get yourself a camera soon please. remember your mom and the red heart- don't wait to do things that give you pleasure, do them today. (if anything it gives you permission to indulge myself!)

Hello Suki,
I hope by now you have found your camera. We get used to this wonderful technical and artistical thing, especially if we have a life to share with our blogfriends:)
No snow here in Paris, (only on my blog) I'm waiting for it, last year we had some!
Have a good Monday...

Suki, we have a beautiful covering of snow here! I am loving it so much, too!

I am so sorry about your camera. It will show up just when you least expect it. I know what you mean about being lost without it, though. I love your photos, so the old ones will do just fine until your camera reveals itself to you (staying positive here)!

Hang in there, Sweet Suki!

We had a whopping half inch of snow....which is still rare here in the south! Argh! I hate it when I've misplaced something that is probably under my nose! Lastly, I haven't been around the blogs lately so I have just now read your post on your mom. The anniversaries are tough, so happy that you had that wonderful year living with her to cherish, may each memory bring a smile to your face. It's been 6 years and I still miss my mom every day. God bless.

I lent my camera to my son while he is a way on a school trip, so I know what it's like to be without one!

It will show up, Suki, things always do.
