Pinocchio- When you wish upon a star

sung by Louis Armstrong. Well, Disney WAS based in California wasn't he (even though he was born in Missouri, the "Show Me State.") See post below for my wishing story.

lovely song and video........
I love Disney movies, can't help it.
I also read your post below!
Shoot wish I could write better English to express myself better.
Years ago I drove past my house and I said to myself: Whenever this house comes on the market I will buy it!
stupid because suppose it came I still had my house and having 2 houses is impossible or plain stupid here, to buy a house before you have sold your own.
I drove past this house quite a few times as it is opposite of my doctor.
Years later, many years before we planned we put our house on the market and sold it quite soon after.
We spend months looking for another house.
We had a deadline: we had to find a suitable house in September or we had to rent something or find a holiday home for temporary.
Just a few day before the deadline I went to Rotterdam to a dental surgeon and on my way home I cried very loud (guess full of self pity)
I was in pain and despair.
My husband told me to comfort me We only need ONE house.
When home I switched on the computer and went to huislijn.nl (a site where you can see the houses which are for sale) which I visiited every day and guess what???!!!!
My house was for sale!
Within a week we bought it.

What do I want to tell you?
Please don't despair make wishes!
Place your order in the universe (know it sounds cliche) and don't stop believing!

I know it will all turn out fine for you Suki!

Wish upon a star!

I love this clip. I hope you find something this time in when you go to the Cape. Thinking good thoughts.

Hello Suki - just popped over to say Hi - looking forward to the Artysoulsisters exchange. I too have read the other post about moving and as a veteran mover myself just wanted to say I have been disappointed so many times over houses sold under my nose! However, if it isn't meant to be... then your home (probably nicer than that one that was just sold, anyway), is maybe the next or the next... it will happen!

cris, thanks a lot. of course, i know the problem is not in what is available, but within myself.

Caroline, hi. I too am looking FWD to the book round. i have just almost completed my pages in fact. thanks for the kind words re: house search. I know everything will work out for the best.
