Very different from New York
I envy you.

elizabeth, however there are some parks in NY no? None with cattails? I had a friend who went hunting wild herbs in the NY parks although you would think they'd be coated in car exhaust.

Well you may be cooler then us right now but you have green in the fields still and we have dried grass due to no rain and heat. Lovely field with the cattails in there.

Magic Wings Butterfly Conservatory & Gardens is in South Deerfield. My cousin lives near Yankee Candle.

I can hear the frogs.

Nice marsh, and good video. Do hope Bibs is better.
(I don't think I know how to make a video and post it. Will have to try.)

cris so true. everything is very very green here. I was noticing the other day all the variations in the shades of green.

Chewy, I remember passing the sign for Yankee Candle as sometimes i return home on Route 5. Butterfly conservatory, wow, I'd love to go there, thanks for the tip.

katie jane, i didnt know i could make videos with my camera for a long time. most likely yours has a video setting. mine is just a simple cheap camera and it has one.

Very nice. Suki, this is strange, I come check everyday for a new post and then I came today and there are three I missed. Can't figure out how that happened. I hope Bibbity is doing better.

Pretty, but I must not have my speakers hooked up here at work as I do not hear anything. Will try this again when I get home. Hope Kitty is doing okay today.

annie, i think I posted several on the same day.

lynn, kitty seems a bit despondant and wanting extra pettings and comforting.

thanks Mim

Marianne, I dont think what Bibs has is life-threatening though not entirely positive.

andrea, i think bibs is already blind in that one eye. I just want to keep her pain free and comfortable.

It sounds like an interesting place. Love the marsh sounds including the frogs.

Looks familiar ;)
I actually haven't been to Deerfield (except passing through) in some time, but have been wanting to take my bike and camera this summer...if it ever stops raining.
