That was fun, Suki, thanks for taking us with you on your walk. You could always demolish the old barn and rebuild...:-). The pond is beautiful!

This is fun. You are becoming quite the movie maker. :) I still hear no accent. :)
I guess I am going to have to try and figure this out. and do one too. Your pond is wonderful. You have a water theme going tho. running water and now the pond. :))

Annie, thanks for coming along. I do love the pond, for sure. But I dont want to live here any longer. As i walked y'day, I really felt the loneliness of Mom being gone from here.

Cris, yes, you could make some great videos of those ducks and Annie. I hadnt thought of the water theme. thanks.

Wow, that was a great tour of the pond...spring has sprung! Nice spot to just sit and watch.

Suki, I loved seeing that! Please do some more as spring really starts showing up,,,,I'm sure the whole area is gorgeous.

I can hear your eastern accent, heh heh,,,,but then I'm sure you'd say I have one!
My Kansas City family says I sound like an Okie,,,and maybe I do; having lived here so long.

A house on a knoll overlooking a pond would be an ideal place to live. A whole lot of work would have to go into a place like this.

I like the turtle rock. I can see why a turtle would like to sit and bask in the sun there.

BSD, the pond is lovely and today it is so warm out in the sun both I and the turtle love to bask.

babs, that's interesting about the accent. hmmm. i know when i spent some time in Missouri i ended up with a Missouri accent, somewhat Ozarkian. Now that I've discovered this video capability, I am sure i will continue on, that's a good idea to show spring unfolding.

Thanks for the walk Suki, but I admit, even more exciting is hearing your voice!! It makes it so special.

Hey girl, you're getting good at this! That was fun, although they aren't very long. You live in a lovely wilderness.

Wonderful!
I love these videos!
I recognized the turtle stone before you told me......
Pictures are pieces of a puzzle now they come together......

Have a nice weekend!

Yes, I remember the turtle stone too! Thank you for sharing Suki, it's so interesting to see the farm in motion.

The old house does look forlorn esp surrounded by all the snow.

I look forward to more Suki movies! :)

What a fun thing to do, and how enjoyable to come along with you.
So interesting to see the differences in our climates this time of year. I will love it if you record the turn of the leaves come fall.

Fun video and great to see the pond. Do you have peepers yet?

sukipoet said...

Teri thanks. Interesting to think my voice is more exciting than the video.

katie jane, someone told me that if i get a memory card for my camera i can take longer videos. so i hope to get one soon

marianne, hope you have a nice WE too. Rain here today but y'day was gloriously 63 degrees.

patti, i am sure i will be doing more in future as i find them fun. i redid this one several times before settling on this version.

lynn there is just no comparison between CA and NH zounds

mim, no peepers yet here how about there?

Suki, do you live on this property? That house looks more like a worn-torn barn that may have been converted at one point.

Water view~I love how realtors try to rope you in with that one! You should see what a million dollars buys out here. Not much!

We'll be heading back east in the next few months now. As much as I love New England, it will be a hard transition after 16 years here.
I hope to hook up with KJ and Mim once I get settled. Perhaps you can join us!

I enjoyed the video and 'walking' with you :)

i really enjoyed that, was sorry when it ended, you are getting good at this too. when you said you heard a 'plop' i wondered what on earth it could be, then you clarified it by saying the plop was over in the pond. i thought ' thank good ness for that'. what a beautiful barn of a house, all very evocative, thanks so much suki.

Laurel, I wondered if you were still moving east. I'd love to meet Mim, KJ and yourself. What fun! I do live on this property which now all belongs to the brother. the "barn" was the start of a house the brother built for his first wife but when the marriage ended the house turned to ruins too.

soulbrush, glad you enjoyed the little walk.

I am glad the weekend is over :)
Saturday I had to do all kind of work in the house here, clean the beds , Wash the things I had bought for my Mom and iron them (I really don´t like to iron....) Made curtains by husband had bought and they turned out terrible!!!!
And the rest of the day I had to study. At a certain point I was soooo sulky!
Yesterday (yes on a sunday)I had my exam and later I went to visit my mother, who is enjoying her new home (that´s the good part) and met my brothers to divide the things left behind in the apartment, that went well......
Today the sun is shining, it has been freezing but later this week the temperature will finally get up. So things are looking good!
Hope at your place too!

Take care!
