OK. I am relenting and sort of showing you my haircut. (This is after about 10 tries at a self portrait using my delayed timer thing) Close up the grey has strands of darker hair, almost as if I'd done it on purpose. I may post a REAL post later but now I want to bake some pies. Also, I'd like to catch up on reading y'all's posts which I have neglected for far too long. Maybe tidy up my own blog a bit. I did go through my own posts comments and responded so that's tidied up for now. Yes, yes, do let's be tidy. Happy day to ye. Suki

How nice Suki to meet you like this through the web.

I love grey hair, though I haven't met my own grey grow yet!

Yes it looks like you had it done!
Sophistocated! Love the different shades of gray. Love the short do.
You look like a friend of mine from grade school. Well done self portrait...You could draw that!
We have similiar eyebrows!
I've really been enjoying and appreciating your comments on my blog! Thank you!!!
Oh and i liked the list on the side bar...I like Helen Mirran too!

It looks great Suki! I toy with the idea of cutting my white hair
short, it is shoulder length now.
I had it short like that for 20 years until I moved to Taos.

I love it Suki. Cuz it is just like mine LOL

thanks M. Heart. It sure is easy to take care of.

Britt-Arnhild, well, it is nice to meet you also. Maybe your hair won't turn grey!

Jude, thanks. Hmmm, I generally am not very tidy either. Well I am sometimes and other times not.

thanks Lynn. I enjoy your comments too. I can look forward to view Part II of the Prime suspect story. I thought I had it all on one disk. But no...

Annie, well if you cut it and dont like it it does grow again. Winter is a nice time to have long hair though. It is much warmer.

Teri, yes short like yours but methinks your hair is a bit darker.!

Suki, I have been so busy and neglecting blogs, too. I had to come here, though, to say how BEAUTIFUL you look! This is a great cut for you, it seems!

Like M.Heart...I Love It!

Well I see nothing wrong with this hair cut. I think it looks great. We are our own worst critic's sometimes. I took mine in my mirror. had to take that a few times too. :))
I too enjoy your comments on my blog. Thank you for being so faithful. :))

I like your haircut very much! My hair is very short too. I recently used an endearment my mother-in-law used and I'll use it here..a sheyn ponem! Which means "such a pretty face"
Enjoy your pie making!

Love your haircut, Suki! Nice natural contrasts. And speaking of tidying up, that's what I've been doing for the last two days, getting ready for the holidays! I just got my pie baking ingredients, too.

I very much like your haircut. I used to wear mine short like that, but let it grow a couple of years back. And I'm really into tidy. Have at it.

Hi Suki,
Those self timers... tricky to set and then jump into the frame. You look great with your "tidy" new hairstyle. Your blog has some nice improvements too.

love the haircut! sexy and sophisticated! mine is just a wee bit longer...

Looks great Suki and grey is such a great colour. I like seeing peoples faces - too much 'hairdo' detracts from the face i think.

Mine is short too, but wispy around the neck. I cut it short when I started doing Yoga ten years ago and haven't looked back.

Cute! Very chic! ...now I am wondering why I am trying to grow mine out again. I love seeing photos of the artists I have come to know so well. Thanks for sharing!

Kim, I know how busy you are. So thanks for stopping by in yr busy day. Mom likes the haircut too. I still think it a tad short above the ears and in back. Thanks for your kind words.

Mim, thanks. I dont have to bush it at all. Which is great.

Cris, well thank you too for being a faithful blog friend. I so enjoy your posts.

Blue Sky Dreaming, you are so sweet. and thanks for the great new words. Sheyn ponem. I like that.

Willow, I hope you are having fun baking pies. Actually I prefer baking to any other cooking mode. What I like least is cooking a big turkey but I will do it for the tradition.

Katie Jane, I am only into tidy now and then. though am never thoroughtly and entirely messy. Every night before bed I tidy up my studio and bedroom so in the morning i can see what needs to be done.

Chewy thanks for stopping by. I like that feature though, the self timer. Of course I just have a small camera without lots of focusing options which may make it easier than with a complex camera.

Well natalya. If I look the two S's then I'm happy. I like that. Thanks.

Patti, I certainly know too much hair takes away from my face. I should look up and post the photo of me back in the early 70's with my mass of long curly hair. Bizzare.

Karen, your hair is lovely as i've seen in some photos. I had longer hair too when younger. Had more patience with brushing etc then.

thank you human being.

i can see that if i want more comments i should post about hair! your short 'do looks awesome. my hair was quite like that before and during my daughter's cosmetology course. (whenever i felt it was too short i reached for the earrings and lipstick which made me feel better.) after she got her license to cut hair, she decided she didn't want to do it. my hair is now about to skim my shoulders -- can't get her to cut it.

Debra, you make me laugh. I do think hair posts draw a lot of commentary. So interesting. Well, funny about yr daughter's not wanting to cut hair anymore. But i can kinda understand. Once put aside keep it aside.

Andrea, thanks. My hair is soft in the winter, but wirey and stiff in the summer or rainy weather. Thanks for your comments on my visage.
