Big Draw day one

Pencil. I admit I didnt spend a lot of time on this. Think I like the vase the best.

I love this Suki, I like that it is a quick sketch and not perfect.

The composition works. You have an odd number of 3 flowers. A circle, rectangle and also irregular shapes. Different types of strokes, squiggles and shading. A great loose sketch.

Is there a website for this Big Draw?

I will second Chewy's observant comments and add that the placement of the vase is nice too.

Hey San,

I'm observant... unless there is something like a web-link right smack in front of my face.

Annie, thanks. Most of the big draw sketches I did last yr were quick ones too.

Chewy, thanks for what you have said. really, I never saw it that way. The shapes and strokes and so forth. glad you found the link!!!!

thanks san. All these things are not things I was thinking of when drawing. I love to hear these responses as they make me more observant or I hope they will as I draw.

Suki,

This is really wonderful. I love the sketchy quality and feel you have a very good base for some other application. Isn't that what this is all about?

Nice Work!
